Ovarian Cyst Treatment Aegiseme

Ovarian Cyst treatment by Using Aegiseme under Ultrasonic Surveillance

Broadly speaking, an ovarian cyst may be classed as a tumor of the ovary. This disease can afflict women of various ages, but it is most often seen in the

Aegiseme for Dysmenorrhea and Ovarian Cysts

age group of 20-50.  Although the ovary is a comparatively small organ in the human body, it is a place where tumors of various types are apt to occur.
Tumors of the ovary may be of different qualities and shapes, and there are not a few of them which can produce the female or the male sex hormones.
The method used in Western medicine for treating a benign tumor of the ovary (ovarian cyst) is surgical removal, yet even though a benign tumor of ovarian cyst  in this case tends to change into a malignant one, resection of it can be avoided if efforts have been made to make examinations early and if such early examinations have made possible early discovery and treatment of the disease. Several hospitals of traditional Chinese medicine in China have achieved satisfactory results in using a conservative therapy on patients with ovarian cysts of diameters <6cm (teratoma and swelling of ovarian parenchyma being excluded). The medicine used in the conservative therapy of  ovarian cyst was Aegiseme Hereunder is given a summary of the clinical report of ovarian cyst treatment .
Aegiseme was adopted for treating 46 cases of ovarian cyst.  The patients were aged 15~71 with an average age of 36.  Of these patients 24 came to hospital for treatment of underbelly pain, lumbago or dysmenorrhea.  Gynecological and ultrasonic examinations arrived at the combined diagnosis of ovarian cyst.  The patients asked firmly for a conservative therapy .  As regards the conditions of the cysts, the ultrasonic examinations indicated that the maximum diameter was 9.68cmX7.8cm and the minimum one was 4.2cmX3.7cm and that most of the cysts had fluid dark regions or no-echo regions.  Gynecological examinations of the adnexa found palpable cyst-like lumps, which were quite mobile and smooth on the surface.
Aegiseme was to be used, 2 pieces a time and 3 times a day, taken after a meal.  Three months were to make one course.  Ovarian cyst treatment was to last 3~6 months.  If menstruation was profuse, the administration was to be interrupted during the period.  If menstruation was normal, administration was to continue during the period.  The therapeutic effect was to be summed up at the end of 1-2 courses.
3.Criteria for judgement of therapeutic effect:
Cured: Clinical symptoms have disappeared; and examinations, both gynecological and ultrasonic, show that the ovarian cyst has disappeared.
Outstandingly effective:  Conscious symptoms have disappeared or obviously lessened, and the ovarian cyst has diminished by more than 1/2 in size.
Effective:  Conscious symptoms have turned better or disappeared, and the cyst has diminished by more than 1/3 in size.
Ineffective:  The ovarian cyst has not diminished or increased in size.
At the end of treatment for 3 months a review was made of the cyst-like lumps on ultrasonic equipment, which showed that of the 46 cases 24 were cured, 12 outstandingly effective, 5 effective and 5 ineffective.  Thus, the overall rate of effectiveness of this natural ovarian cyst treatment was 89% and the rate of cure was 52%. At the end of treatment for 6 months a review was again made of the cyst-like lumps on ultrasonic equipment, which showed that there were 29 cured cases, 11 outstandingly effective, 2 effective and 4 ineffective, thus making the overall rate of effectiveness 91% and the rate of cure 63%.
 5. Conclusion:
According to the testimony given by clinical observation, research and relevant data, Aegiseme performs the following main functions:
 A.  Dilation of blood vessels and improvement of microcirculation of the pelvis: About 10 days after administration of the medicine the blood-vessel diameter can be increased from 1~2 um to 1.5~4 um, the blood viscosity and stagnancy lowered and the congregation of thrombocytes inhibited.
 B. It has a conspicuous suppressive effect on subacute and chronic inflammation and an inhibitory effect on primary and induced occurrence of diseases of autoimmunity.  It also has an obvious analgesic effect
 C. It can reduce the secretion of folliculin and lutein and exert a further influence on the secretion of estradiol, progesterone and testosterone, thereby suppressing the effect of the estrogenic environment, on which the ovarian cyst depends for its growth, and restoring to normality the proportion of estrogens to progesterone.
Therefore, Aegiseme has a comparatively good therapeutic effect in regard to the ovarian cyst treatment.  As it is economical, convenient, natural and without side effects, it makes for an ideal method in the conservative ovarian cyst treatment.
